W elcome to the demonstration application of 'HHSRSAPP'. This demonstration walks you through the process of creating a HHRSR assessment in the style of the Warwick worked examples. This demonstration is a cut down version of HHSRSAPP however even though restricted in scope it still allows you to use the HHSRSAPP calculator module©.
At the heart of HHSRSAPP desktop are the calculation modules. The layout of any report you create is based largely on these modules.
The application provides for you the ability to work on 3 premises at any one time.
The application workflow is intuitive so just click on the 'Projects' tab and see how far you get come back here for further information. In the demonstration 'Assessment' tab text inputs are pre-populated. You must load your own images and add image titles to complete the form as you progress through the assessment stages.
The application requires a larger screen ideally 1920 pixels or greater anything smaller than 1366 pixels will cause the visual displacement of elements.
T he process of creating a report is linear. HHSRSAPP builds the report as it progresses through a series of modules with each module adding to the completion of the final report.
When you are in the calculation modules the datasets are in memory this allows for the realtime feedback you get when using them.
I explain these aspects of HHSRSAPP to ephasise its non-triviality ; it is a complicated application and your computer must be able to run it. The browser you use is very important. HHSRSAPP desktop was developed using the Google Chrome browser and for compatability testing Mozilla Firefox. I am confident the application will work on all modern browsers as they are all built with compatability in mind and use a common set of standards to achieve this.
Y ou start with the projects module (see notes below) accessed via the 'Projects' tab in the top left corner beside the 'Home' tab where you are now! When you press the 'Projects' tab the 'Calculation ' tab will appear. Once you are in the calculation module the justification calculation module tab will appear on opening this tab the assessment module tab will appear.
T he 'Worked Examples' provided with this demonstation were created with this application to showcase its scope.
T he 'Worked Examples' are an an accurate representation , created programmatically, of the original HHSRS worked examples created by Warwick University published in 2004.
T he full scope of this application includes the ability to provide an inspecting authority with the means to develop a curated database of worked examples based on inspections carried out by officers in their locality.
Alway navigate the application using the tabs made available to you in the order they appear.
